What do you know about staking?

Staking is a process, when you are dueling for some kind of prize. Sound fun, right? Who wouldn‘t want to get some prizes? However, don‘t just get too excited. Before you start doing anything, lets just talk about some basic things regarding staking.

First of all, you can’t just wake up, open your computer, log-in to Runescape and start staking wherever you want. RuneScape developers have created and special place for that, which is called Duel Arena. Of course, no one forces you to go all out whenever you enter the Arena – you can enter Duel Arena only to have some fun and to practice too.

If you want to reach Duel Arena, you should at least know where this place is. It is located in the northeast of the Al-Kharid. If you are not in the mood for searching of Duel Arena and just want to get there as fast as you can, you can use the Ring of Dueling (you should have it first, of course).

To enter a duel you will have to choose between two options – friendly fight or fight for the prize. However, if you want a prize, you will have to put some of you beloved Rs Gold at risk. Or simply said – invest. Thats it – it‘s time to choose your opponent. But be cautious and choose your opponent wisely. If the luck will not be on your side and you will lose a duel, your opponent he will get the gold, which you have both agreed before the fight.

To choose the right person for the fight, you should always look for opponent who has a combat level similar to yours. Unless you are John Cena and you are always looking for a challenge. If you want to have more advantage against your opponent and feel more safely for your gold, you should look for someone, who has lower level of strength or hitpoints. To be sure that the person is right for the fight, you should go to OSRS HIGHSCORES and search for your opponent’s nickname.

You should also know about the first hit and pid. When you enter the arena, you should try to press “attack” as soon as the countdown ends. Just don‘t break your mouse! If you manage to hit first, there is a big chance that you will come up as a winner eventually and collect a stake.
