Runescape universe offers you with two possible modes of combat, that you can choose from. However, in order to make your choise more easily, you should know some basic information about them. Let’s begin!
This mode is for conservative or nostalgic players, who are willing to travel back in time, return to the previous RuneScape world and enjoy the old and legendary combat system. Forget about abilities, adrenaline or combat settings – all of these are gone. It‘s not a joke – this mode is designed for a hardcore players. Legacy combat basically looks like the older versions of RuneScape – if you‘re in for a design perspective, we calm you down – colours and textures are the same, it has the same design and skin. Although, worn armour sets are changed just a little, prayer icon looks totally different.
Evolution of Combat mode was presented to Runescape players in 2012 and offered with a bunch of new content. By using this mode, you can easily find new exiting prayers, never-seen-before abilities, new powerful weapons, magic and ranged equipments, which could make a Hawkeye look like a kid in the park. Think this is it? Remember those monsters from the old game version? All of them now have new attacks, so you‘re in for a new challenge this time. All of them seem stronger than before.
EoC mode provides you with three types of abilities: basic, threshold and ultimate. Basic abilities are quick to develope and can generate adrenaline, which later can be used to perform even stronger abilities. Threshold abilities can do a little more damage, however, it will use much more of your adrenaline supplies. Finally, the last, but the most powerful type of all those abilities is called „Ultimate“. If you are looking for an enormous damage, those abilities are just for you, however, they will completely exhaust your adrenaline bar.
Modes of combat in the RuneScape game should be much more understable to you now. You can easily choose whatever type of game you like. If you are looking for more adventures, more abilities and more modern game, you should choose Evolution of Combat mode. However, if you feeling nostalgic and just want to experience the old-fashioned RuneScape game, a Legacy mode is just for you.
Make your choice and have a great time in the Runescape world!
