So, you have decided to become The Donald of Gielinor. You got your small loan of $1,000,000 from your fa… oops, you bought some gold from us. Now, you’re wondering what to do with it. Well, the easiest way to make money in RuneScape is probably playing the Grand Exchange for fools. Yes, we know that the real Donald got rich by putting his name up on everything but, unfortunately, it is not an option in RuneScape. If it ever becomes one, you will be ready to brand the whole of Gielinor with your glorious name. Okay, back to business.
The easiest way to earn gold is called flipping. For those who don’t know what that is, flipping means buying something and immediately trying to sell it for more. While it’s not as fun as slaying monsters, flipping is more profitable and reliable, provided you do it intelligently. You can also do something else while waiting.
To get your start in flipping, it is recommended to get a paid RuneScape membership because it makes more options available to you. Continuing in that vein, it is also advisable to have at least 10,000,000 gold coins to your name. Having used our service, you should be ready to go. If you’re not, go get ready. If you can’t, don’t pout, you can still flip without a big bag of gold making it hard to walk. It will just be harder to make a big profit and take much longer to Trump yourself out.
Okay, let’s talk about flipping. As we said, the concept is quite simple. You buy an item for, say, 1000 gold, to use round numbers and make the math easier. This 1000 gold coins is now your buying price. Then, you have two options: you can buy the same item in bulk, 1000 units of it, for example, or immediately sell that one item for more than you paid for it, and look for another deal. If you buy in bulk, you stand to make much more gold when you finally sell the items you stocked up on; however, the risk is greater in case something unexpected happens in the Grand Exchange and the item’s price drops below the price you paid for it.
Let’s say you buy 1000 items for 1000 gold each, spending 1,000,000 gold coins. Now, you sell your whole stock for 1,100 each, getting 1,100,000 gold coins back, and making 100,000 coins just like that. Depending on the item you chose, the whole flip could be done in minutes; however, it could take much longer. It is very important to have patience when flipping because every time you get impatient and change your selling price to complete the trade faster, you lower your profit margins. Obviously, that’s not what The Donald does.
While you may wish to get some useful tips on items you should start flipping, it’s more important to teach you how to fish yourself. We can only advise you to start small. Carefully figure out the market, see what sells well for you. Try flipping items and materials you yourself use or would want to buy. Don’t put all of your eggs into one basket. As the guys from Wall Street say, “Diversify, diversify, diversify.” With everything we covered here, you can now get your (orange) freak on and start flipping. We will happily cash out your fortune for you.
