Kindred Spirits, Void Knights’ Outpost Rework Now Live
The new Kindred Spirits quest and Void Knights’ Outpost rework are now live.
The way Mod Robbie presented the new quest line would make you think that it would be perfect for Sherlock Drumpf. Unfortunately, he’s an idiot, so we should thank the gods, both old and new, that he’s not actually real, for Sliske would easily win with Sherlock in the picture.
While we have covered the pre-released information about this quest line, Mod Robbie did give us some additional information. As we said before, you will be able to start the quest by talking to Linza at the Burthorpe’s smithy. On the other hand, while we said that you will need several skills above 60, we now know that the specific skills you will need will be Agility, Crafting, Herblore, and Smithing. Take note that you must have the quest Missing, Presumed Death completed.
While the Mega May promotion is going on, you will also be required to complete Robber From the Darkness Part 7 in the Meg’s Cases stand. This will not be required after Mega May is over. We realise that this is thematically relevant; however, making players do promotional content they may not wish to do is a little bit of a cheap shot.
Together with the the XP for the skills required to start the quest, you will also gain access to a new Barrows wight for the Barrows mini-game. It will drop new tier 80 armor.
The Void Knights’ Outpost graphical rework is also up now. We must admit that it looks hella awesome on NXT. The timing is very nice, as this weekend will be themed after mini-games. It will start on the 27th of May and last until the 30th. IF you enter Void Knights’ Outpost at that time, you will get double points on Pest Control and Conquest.
If you want to keep up-to-date on the latest news concerning the game, you should tune in to twitch.tv/runescape to watch Mod Raven’s playthrough of Kindred Spirits on Tuesday, the 24th of May, at 20:00 Game Time. The launch stream for Chronicle: RuneScape Legends will take place on the 26th of May, at 17:00 Game Time, so you should definitely tune in if you’re interested in this trading card game. If you’re curious about the stuff that’s gonna happen this summer, don’t miss the RuneScape’s Summer Summit at 16:00 Game Time, on Saturday, May 28th.
That’s all for today, we hope you found this information useful. If you miss the live streams, tune in to find out what you should know to keep up with those, who watched it.
